As a Mental Health and Well-Being Coach, I work with my clients to help, encourage, support, and motivate them towards educating themselves, into taking a more passionate, insightful, and active role in their own Mental Health and Well-being, that is based on their newly envisaged, positive, and confident goals for personal change.

The essence, or cornerstone, of Mental Health and Well-Being Coaching is based on open dialogue between the coach, and the client.

The activity of coaching brings together techniques, and methods, that are theoretically proven to make a difference.

During conversation, coaches use effective listening, and ask questions of the client. This then helps to create a new personal, visionary, realisation, and belief for the client, that is based on new observations, and helpful feedback gained through open dialogue. 

 

A coach helps the client to envisage a desired goal in life and focus on how that goal may well be achieved.

A clear vision of what it would actually be like for the client to achieve that new personal goal becomes apparent, and a real belief that this new goal can be achieved is so attained for the client.

 

And so, a renewed resolve is created within the client, to work towards this new goal. For the client being coached it means that a new clarity regarding a particular topic or situation is attained.

 

This enables the client to make progress towards a new positive life situation in which new personal goals are attained.
